TechniqueBox Privacy Policy

TechniqueBox helps users save, tag, organize, and revisit martial arts technique videos.
Information We Collect
- Account information needed for sign-in, such as your account identifier, email address, and authentication provider session data.
- Archive content you choose to save, including technique titles, source URLs, tags, notes, pins, timestamps, custom lists, list memberships, and deletion records.
- Anonymous community signals for signed-in users who keep community sharing enabled, including source fingerprint, source URL, title or source label, raw and canonical tags, signal type such as save or search, and timestamp.
- Purchase entitlement state through RevenueCat and the applicable app store provider.
Information We Do Not Upload in Cloud Restore v1
- Local video files.
- Recently deleted local recovery history beyond sync tombstones needed to remove deleted cloud archive items.
- Private notes as community recommendation signals.
- Your identity as part of public related-video recommendations.
How We Use Information
- To sync and restore your archive across devices when you sign in.
- To show your saved techniques, tags, notes, pins, lists, and membership state.
- To provide anonymous aggregate related-video recommendations.
- To maintain purchases, account access, reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
Third-Party Services
TechniqueBox uses Supabase for authentication, database sync, realtime connectivity, and Edge Functions. TechniqueBox uses RevenueCat and the relevant app store provider for subscription and entitlement handling.
Your Choices
- You can disable community signal sharing in Settings.
- You can delete saved techniques and lists in the app.
- You can sign out to remove account-specific local app state before another account is loaded on the same device.
Data Security
TechniqueBox uses local-first storage and cloud sync for signed-in archive data. Local databases are encrypted on supported desktop and mobile platforms, and cloud access is scoped through Supabase authentication and row-level security.

We may update this policy as TechniqueBox changes. The effective date at the top shows when this page was last updated.
